I referred to other stylized environments that I wanted to mimic and work from as I started studying, experimenting and practicing the colorful 3D art style. By reverse engineering the principles and materials of stylized environments and characters, I've gained a lot of insight into how to achieve various desired results. Stylized environments are much different than realistic environments when it comes to shading, shadows, light propagation and shaders.
I find it as a joyful experience to create colorful scenes like these as I work with various different references. With every scene I build, I will continue to move on to finding my own unique style to fit a range of random themes.
